By accessing or using Pilot Prep Online (“Private Pilot Ground School”) you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These terms apply to all users, including students and instructors.
Pilot Prep Online provides an online ground school education platform offering the Private Pilot Ground School. The course covers FAA aeronautical knowledge required for the Private Pilot Written Exam. We do not provide flight instruction, simulator training, or any in-person services. Completion of this course does not constitute a flight endorsement for actual flight operations.
Upon successful completion of the course requirements, eligible students may receive an FAA Written Test Endorsement (per 14 CFR 61.35) from a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) affiliated with Pilot Prep Online. Issuance of such endorsement is at the sole discretion of the endorsing CFI and is subject to the student demonstrating adequate knowledge. Pilot Prep Online makes no guarantee that an endorsement will be issued.
Access to course content requires a one-time enrollment fee processed via Stripe. All prices are in USD. Payment is processed securely by Stripe — Pilot Prep Online does not store your credit card information. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for students who have not completed more than 20% of the course content.
All course content including videos, text, images, quizzes, and practice exams are the intellectual property of Pilot Prep Online and are protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or share course content without written permission. Your enrollment grants you a personal, non-transferable license to access the content for your own educational use.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others. Each enrollment is for one individual student. If we detect unauthorized sharing, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without refund.
Course content is provided for educational purposes only. While we strive to keep material current with FAA publications and regulations, aviation regulations change frequently. Always verify regulatory information with current FAA publications (FARs, AIM, AFH) before applying it in any aviation context. Pilot Prep Online is not liable for any outcome of FAA written tests or flight training decisions made based on this course.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pilot Prep Online shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to: failure to pass the FAA Written Exam, delays in obtaining a student pilot certificate, or decisions made as a result of course content.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify enrolled students of material changes via email.
